Ruby Jean Johnson's Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Jean Johnson was born October 12, 1951, in Hurtsboro Alabama to the late Fred and Ernestine Dubose. She attended and graduated from Charles Evan Hughes High School class of 1969 in New York, NY.
Ruby met and married the late Melvin Johnson on May 25, 1977. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E Church in Hurtsboro Alabama. Ruby departed this life November 3, 2023 in Jacksonville FL. We were blessed to have her for 72 years. She loved and enjoyed her family dearly. She leaves to cherish her memory: five children: Melniqua Johnson, Jacksonville FL; Lamekia Johnson, Snellville GA; Frederick (Kimberly) Dubose Jonesboro GA; Ebonie Dubose, Jacksonville FL; and Dawn Dubose Jacksonville, FL; 10 Grandchildren: Keion Johnson, Alisa Dubose, Kierra Dines, Frederick Dubose, Keldrick Dubose, Sean Swinton, Lamar Dubose, Trinity Bell, KaMya Craft, and Zariyah Mack; two sisters: Zeborah Dubose Ogletree, Atlanta GA; and Deborah Nicholas, Jacksonville FL; and a host of relatives and friends.
