Robert Lee Pittman Sr. 72, passed peacefully in his sleep at home onJanuary 6th 2026. His Firefighter procession will proceed fromHurtsboro AL, to Fort Mitchell National Cemetery 553 Highway 165Fort Mitchell AL for his military funeral honors at 1:30pm easterntime. Following his service, everyone is invited to return to theHurtsboro Fire Department 405 Daniels Street Hurtsboro AL tocelebrate his life.Bob was born on August 8th 1953 in Chino California to the lateWilliam and Helen Pittman. He proudly served in the United StatesArmy. His lifelong commitment to Public Service left a lasting impacton the fire service and communities he served. His legacy ofprofessionalism and service will be remembered with deep respectand gratitude from the countless lives he touched, mentored, taughtand guided.Bob was preceded in death by his parents William and HelenPittman and his grandson Robert Lee Pittman lll. Survivors includehis loving wife of 49 years Dianne Pittman, his loyal four leggedcompanion TeeTee and his best friend Buddy Whidden. Survivingchildren; Wanda Kirby (Troy), Elizabeth Percey (Scott), ShellyHudspeth (Micheal), Amy Copeland (Eddie), Robert Lee Pittman Jr.(Jessica) and Roberta Pittman. Surviving grandchildren; Michael,Branden, Todd, Robert, Taylor, Carolynn, Faith, Hunter, Brianna,Hannah, Kayden, and Braxton. Surviving great grandchildren; Aila,Elijah, Samantha, Sullivan and Leah.
