Jimmie Rogers' Obituary
Mr. Jimmie Rogers, 71, passed on March 25, 2022, at his home in Midway, Alabama. Mr. Rogers was born February 9, 1951, in Hurtsboro, Alabama, to the late Eddie L. Davis and Mary Rogers. He attended school at the Russell County Training School in Hurtsboro and was employed by Bibb Manufacturing Company in Columbus, Georgia. Following his employment with Bibb, he worked in the pulp wood industry until he retired. Services for Mr. Rogers will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 12:00 noon, at the new Nero Baptist Church, located at 322 Rutherford Road, Hurtsboro, Alabama, with Reverend Byron Dixon, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Nero Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Barbour County, at 234 Martin Creek Road, Midway, AL 36053. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 1, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. CST.
