On September 5, 2025, quietly and peacefully the almighty God in His infinite wisdom gently closed the eyes of our beloved James Edward Key.James Key was born to the late George Key, Sr., and Annie Bell Key on November 28, 1952 in Hurtsboro, Alabama. He attended the Russell County Training School in Hurtsboro, Alabama. He confessed his belief in Jesus Christ in life and joined the St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Hurtsboro, Alabama.James was preceded in death by both parents; three sisters, Georgia White, Inez Kearse, and Rosie Key; three brothers, Frank Key, Will Key, and Charlie Key.He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters, Gloria (Perry) Watkins, Phenix City, AL, Grace (Thomas) Miller, Lagrange, GA, and Bertha (Arthur) William, Columbus, GA; one brother, Johnny (Mary) Key, Deltona, FL; one sister-in-law, Mary Key, Manasses, VA; and a host of Neices, Nephews and other relatives & friends
