As family we have been so blessed to have been graced by Isa Mae these wonderful 89 years. She brought us-- US, THEM and THEY as she remembered, embraced and loved from the Davis and Jackson branches; We love her and loved her loving us, them and they, as she knew and spoke.
At Nero Baptist church, her whispers reminded us to speak loud with confidence, be beautiful as the Good Lord was watching and waiting; in the yard, she prompted us young gulls to always walk tall, head high, titled to the sun and even at night nod with the moon light, and in our quiet corners, she would always yield to family notes, where the sweetest and most delightful things happen; be there and indulge in the joys of the family circle and life will take you dynamic places, she would say.
Thank you Isa Mae!!! We surely enjoyed YOU and are most grateful for your wisdom, beauty, dynamic vibrations of keeping a smile, thinking big and the private winks to validate our presence, pitching us to embrace life as we flaunt our God given positivity.
