Mrs. Gladys Borom Banks-Williams of Hurtsboro, Alabama passed Thursday, Novemer 29, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon CST, Thursday, December 6, 2018, at St. Mark A.M.E. Church, Hurtsboro, with Reverend Sargent Simms officiating. Mrs. Banks-Williams was born Novermber 18, 1930 to the late Quilla Borom, Sr. and Willie Mae Gary in Macon County, Alabama. Surviving relatives include two daughters: Bettye Banks-Allen Phenix City, Alabama, and Debra Berry of Smiths Station, Alabama; two sons: Ricky Banks, Hurtsboro, and Tony Banks of Columbus, Georgia; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
