Emma Lou "Nuchie" Cobb's Obituary
Emma passed peacefully from this life the morning of May 26th. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Emma was born in Alabama to Rachel and Ed Peterson who preceded her in death. Emma married Joie Cobb and they had 13 children.
These are those who shall mourn Emma for as long as memory last, seven daughters (and spouses): Mamie Singleton, Willa Charleston, Rachell Cobb-(Dennis) Valion, Annie Cobb, Ruby (Larry) Brunner, Betty Cobb, and Delphine Cobb (Michael); Five Sons, Joie Cobb Jr., Jonathan Cobb, Tommy Cobb, Henry (Ruby) Cobb, Calvin Cobb; Two sisters: Minnie Lee Thomas and Inez Williams, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Emma is preceded in death by her late husband Joie Cobb, son Benjamin, one sister, and her four brothers.
