Clarence Fluellen's Obituary

Clarence Fluellen made his peaceful transition from labor to reward. A rewarding and vibrant life came to an end on Thursday, May 13, 2021, in the comfort of his home. Born November 30, 1940, in Hurtsboro, Alabama to the late George Wilborn, Jr., and Ola Mae Fluellen.
He attended school at the then Russell County Training School in Hurtsboro. He confessed his belief in Christ early in life and joined the Shady Grove A.M.E. Zion Church in Hurtsboro. He worked for Walker Williams Lumber Company in Hatchechubbee, Alabama. Whenever you met Clarence, he always had a smile on his face and was full of fun and laughter. He was a loving person.
Clarence Fluellen was preceded in death by both his parents, five brothers: George Wilborn III, Richard Wilborn, Mitchell Wilborn, Oscar Wilborn, and Ozell Fluellen; one sister, Clara Bell Stark.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters: Rosetta Wilborn, Jessie Owens, both of Hurtsboro, and Gertrude Jackson, Phenix City, Alabama, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
