Alfred Robinson's Obituary
On May 16, 2021. Mr. Alfred Robinson entered eternal rest at his home. Daddy (The Lord) said " No need to awaken, continue to take your rest. You have fought a good fight and your battle is over."
Alfred Robinson was born on August 7, 1957 to the late James Snipes,Sr. and Viola Harris in Hurtsboro, Alabama. He attended the Russell County Training School in Hurtsboro. He confessed Christ early in life and joined the St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Hurtsboro. He worked various jobs in the area but to mention a few, he was employed at Wayne Farms in Union Springs, Alabama, and Walker-Williams Lumber company in Hatchechubbee, Alabama.
Alfred Robinson was preceded in death by both of his parents, his son, Alfred Brown; and three brothers: Melvin Snipes, Perry Snipes, Frank Snipes, Clarence Robinson, and Winfred Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his legacy and memories, five daughters: Shakita Brown, Stephanie (Tyrone) Lockhart, Shirley (Anthony) Tolbert, Toya (Derrick) Lindsey, all of Hurtsboro, AL, and Lura (James) Nunnally, Union Springs, AL; a son; Darrell Brown, Hurtsboro, a special son; Jeffery Tarver, Union Springs, AL, four sisters: Gwendolyn Robinson, Willie Mae (Matthew) Henderson, Luevester Washington, and Annie Pearl France, all of Hurtsboro; five brothers: Samuel (Avis) Robinson, Merriville, IN, Alfonso (Claydene) Robinson, Phenix City, AL, Nathaniel Robinson, Abraham (Lucille) Snipes both of Hurtsboro, AL, and James Snipes, Jr., Union Springs, AL; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
