Obituary for Veal Georgia Mae
Georgia Mae Wilson was born on April 22, 1922 in Doverel, Georgia. At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Hurtsboro, Alabama. At the age of 16 she moved to LaGrange, Illinois to pursue better career opportunities. On December 30, 1945 she married Herbert Veal Jr. and they were blessed with four remarkable children, Annie B. Veal Witherspoon, Herbert Veal III, George M. Randolph, and Albury L. Randolph, to whom they were a part of their astonishing upbringing. Georgia attended Davis Memorial AME Church for many years. She was a devoted and faithful member. She served as a Sunday school teacher, treasurer, choir member, trustee, as well as serving on the finance committee. She was also a leader in the community, helping any and everyone she could who needed help or a place to live. On December 20, 2015 Mrs. Georgia Mae Veal was called from labor to eternal rest. Preceded in homegoing by her husband, Herbert Veal Jr; sons, Herbert Veal III, George M. Randolph; and granddaughter Samone L. Randolph. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Annie B. Veal Witherspoon of Montgomery, Alabama; a son, Albury (Neysie) Randolph of Beloit, Wisconsin; grandsons, Diondre A. (Cherie) Alexander of LaGrange, Illinois, Aaron M. Randolph of Aurora, Illinois, and Bradley S. Randolph of Brookfield, Illinois; one great granddaughter, Tianna L. Alexander of LaGrange, Illinois; a dear friend, Pearl Owens; one she claimed as her daughter, Luella Harris, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Service:

12: Noon C.S.T. The remains will lie in state from 11:A.M. C.S.T until the funeral hour

Visitation:

11: A.M. C.S.T until the funeral hour

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church
