Obituary for Upshaw, Evelina
Evelina Upshaw was born May 27, 1938, in Rutherford, AL. to George Upshaw,Sr., and Alethia Miller . Evelina later moved to Hurtsboro, AL., where she spent most of her years. She is preceded in death by both her parents, two sons; Robert and Joseph Upshaw, a brother; James Upshaw. Evelina was a woman of faith and family, and dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Until she fell ill, She was a active member of One Seed Faith Church in Hatchechubbee, AL. Ms. Upshaw is survived by three sons; Eddie, Tommie, and Morris Upshaw, three daughters; Annie Campbell-Austin (Curtis), Rosie and Sheila Upshaw; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. She also have four brothers; Joe Lewis, Arthur, Walter (Carol), and George Upshaw jr. (Diane) four sisters; Carrie, Marjorie, Adrienne, and Vivian (John), a sister-in-law; Edna Upshaw, an aunt; Laurene Pitts, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
