Obituary for Johnny Fred Thomas
With heartfelt sorrow, on Saturday, February 15,
2025 Johnny F. Thomas left this side of life while
sleeping.
Johnny was born September 12, 1965 in Hurtsboro,
Alabama to Lucious Fortson and Ida Mae Thomas.
Johnny attended school at the Russell County Training School in
Hurtsboro, Alabama. and was employed with the town of Hurtsboro as a
part-time maintenance employee.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents; one sister, Sadie
Patterson.
He will be remembered and held dear to heart by his daughter, Alexa
Thomas, Newnan,Ga., his son, Martavious (Sabrina) Pritchett, Union
Springs, AL., three aunts; Izella (David) Harris, Hurtsboro, AL., Marie
Fortson, Phenix City, AL., Willie Mae Samuel, Hatchechubbee, AL., four
uncles; M.L. (Geneva) Fortson, Lewis Fortson, Both of Phenix City, AL.,
Jimmy Thomas, Theodis (Alice) Thomas both of Hurtsboro, Alabama. and a
host of other relatives and friends
