Obituary for George E. Warren, Sr.
Mr. George E. Warren was born on September 21, 1948, in Hatchechubbee, Alabama, son of the late William and Frances Harris-Warren.
He was educated in the Russell County, Alabama school system. Mr. Warren confessed Christ and joined the Mt. Arrie Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
George was a very talented individual with several skills and a passion for fishing, gardening, and hunting.
Mr. Warren transitioned from this life to reward on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Phenix City, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by a son, George Warren, Jr., three siblings: Hattie Warren Fortson, Richard Warren, and Johnny Warren.
George leaves to cherish his memory three daughters: Melissa Foster, Deloris Fluellen, and Vanessa (Roger) Pressley; two sons: Calvin Warren and Johnny Fluellen; two sisters: Willie B. (Eddie) Miles and Gloria (John) Hamilton; (A third sister, Annie Mae Warren-Cooper, passed away on August 18, 2021) three brothers: James Warren, Eddie (Marian) Warren and Reverend Robert Warren. He also leaves to cherish his memories 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; three aunts; one uncle, and a host of other relatives and friends.
